Moto X4 was first released back in November as a mid-range smartphone. The phone has premium dust and water-resistant design with Dual-camera setup for better photography. Moto X4 is powered by Snapdragon 630 chipset with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. Now, Lenovo owned Motorola has officially launched its 6GB RAM variant of Moto X4 Smartphone in the Indian market.
According to the company, the new handset comes with 6GB of RAM, whereas the internal storage remains same at 64GB. Also, the new variants ships with Android 8.0 Oreo Operating System. The sale of a new variant of Moto X4 will begin from 1st February. The Handset will be exclusively available to Flipkart and Moto Hub stores.
Design & Build Quality:
Moto X4 has a shiny glass panel on the front and the rear with a metal frame placed between the glass panels. It has IP68 certified for dust and water resistance, so don’t need to worry about dropping your phone in water. Moving towards the button layout, the volume and power button is placed on the right-hand side of the phone. The headphone jack and USB Type-C port are present at the Bottom edge of the device. Whereas the hybrid dual-SIM card slot is located at the top edge.
Display & Platform:
The device has 5.2-inch LTPS IPS LCD display. It has plenty of LCD contrast and various wide angles for better viewing. Sadly the phone’s brightness is not so high, you can’t see under the direct sunlight. It has 1080p resolution which makes everything appears extremely sharp. Also, the touchscreen accuracy is quite good and support multiple fingerprint touch.
The Moto X4 will run an Android 8.0 Oreo Operating system. The interface has stock Android for its look and feel. However, the company has added more customized features which makes difference in your day-to-day life. Such custom feature is group together in the Moto Action app.
Camera:
The Moto X4 has dual-camera setup on the back of the device with the combination of a 12MP + 8MP. The 12MP camera is meant for normal snaps, whereas the 8MP has an ultra-wide-angle sensor which can be used to tackle images from a different perspective. Also, useful when you want to merge lots of people into a single frame. The 12MP sensor sports a dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus, ƒ/2.0 aperture, 1.4µm pixels, and 4K video recording. While the 8MP sensor has a fixed-focus lens, ƒ/2.2 aperture, and pixel size of 1.12µm. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixels combine with LED flash. However, the selfie camera can also record 1080p videos.
Performance:
The handset is powered by Snapdragon 630 chipset. It has four CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz and other four cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone offers Adreno 508 GPU with consistent frame rates. You can easily play high graphics games without getting any lack in it. X4 comes with 6GB of RAM which is more than enough for all users. You can install lots of apps in it and runs whenever you want. Just to check the performance of Moto X4 open as many apps in the background. You will notice, your device will work smoothly even with many apps which are open in the background.
Battery:
The smartphone comes with non-removable 3000mAh Li-Ion battery. It supports 15W fast charging and also the company includes a 15W rapid charger inside the box. You can charge up to 40 percent in just 30 minutes. For complete charging, it just requires 1.5 hours. The battery life of Moto X4 can easily last between 20-24 hours with a screen-on time of 4-5 hours, depending on the load.
Moto X4 Price & Availability:
The price in India for Moto X4 with 6GB RAM variant is set at Rs. 24,999. It will available in Sterling Blue and Super Black color variants. The Smartphone will go on Sale via Flipkart and Moto Hub stores from 11:59 pm IST on Wednesday, January 31.
