Amazon India launched 10.or (Tenor) D a budget smartphone. For manufacturing of 10.or D, Amazon had done a partnership with Huaqin Technology and Longcheer company. The smartphone is specially crafted for Amazon, its product features have been made in India. This device will surely compete with Flipkart’s Billion Capture+ and the Redmi 5A smartphones which were launched in India a few weeks ago. Under the partnership with Huaqin Technology, the company launched 10.or E and 10.or G in September.

Display and Camera:
The 10.or D comes with 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Compared to the previous device, it has a 5.5-inch display. In terms of cameras, the smartphone has 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash. Also, it has a 5-megapixel front camera for a better selfie.

The device has a dual-SIM slot, both slots have 4G/VoLTE feature. It also supports Bluetooth, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and a micro USB port. The 10.or D devices have non-removable 3,500mAh Li-ion battery which is little lower than other 10.or devices. Amazon says this smartphone will provide up to 2 days of battery life. The low-end specification will boost the battery life. As compared to Redmi 5A, the 10.or D has larger battery life.
Special features:
Amazon India says that this smartphone is designed looking at customer feedback on its e-commerce platform. Keeping in mind the needs of a customer, it includes a large battery, fingerprint sensor, stock Android among other things.
The device comes with a fingerprint sensor which is present just below the rear camera. The company says it will unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds (when turned on) and 0.8 seconds when turned off. Also, 10.or D is one of the cheapest phones to sport a fingerprint scanner in this price range.
The company says that the handset has Snapdragon 425 processor is optimised and battery efficient. It guarantees that the handset will keep the phone running for up to two days.
Price and Availability:
In India, the price for 2GB of RAM/ 16GB inbuilt storage variants would be Rs. 4,999 and for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage variant goes up to Rs. 5,999. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively to Amazon India on January 5. The registration for the first sale is already Live on Amazon.in website. Till now no launch offers have been announced. Amazon Prime members who buy this smartphone will get an additional one-year warranty from the company. The smartphone gets a bunch of Amazon apps preloaded which can be accessed via the single sign-in method after booting the phone for the first time.
