Taiwan based smartphone company HTC has launched two smartphones HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ in India. Both the smartphones come with bezel-less display and 18:9 aspect ratio along with durable acrylic glass back surface. However, HTC Desire 12 features a single rear camera whereas HTC Desire 12+ has dual rear camera setup along with LED flash module beside the front camera.
Both the smartphones will be exclusively available on June 11 via HTC India E-Store. Moreover, the pre-order for both the smartphones is starting from June 7. In addition, HTC Desire 12+ comes with a fingerprint sensor which is placed in the middle of the rear panel. HTC Desire 12 and HTC Desire 12+ also support face recognition technology along with Google Assistant feature. The company launched both the smartphones in two color options which includes Cool Black and Warm Silver.
HTC Desire 12 Specification:
HTC Desire 12 sports 5.5 inches HD+ IPS display which is coupled with 18:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, the phone is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor that is pair with 3GB of RAM. Talking about the camera, the device sports 13MP rear camera which comes with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front, it has 5MP selfie camera which comes with f/2.4 aperture.
Moreover, the device has 32GB of Internal Storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB using microSD card. The desire 12 smartphone packs 2730mAh battery which last for a day with normal usage. The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense UI on the top of it. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack along with various connectivity options which include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB.
HTC Desire 12+ Specification:
HTC Desire 12+ sports 6.0 inch HD+ IPS display that is paired with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels along with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 processor which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. Moving towards the camera, it has dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera setup. For better selfie, the device has an 8MP front camera that comes with f/2.0 aperture and features like Beauty mode and HDR.
The device has 32GB of Internal Storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB using microSD card. HTC Desire 12+ packs 2965mAh battery which also lasts for a day with normal usage. The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense UI on the top of it. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack along with various connectivity options which include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB.
Price & Availability:
The price of HTC Desire 12 which has 3GB RAM + 32GB Internal Storage is set at Rs. 15,800. Whereas, the price for HTC Desire 12+ which has 3GB RAM + 32GB Internal Storage is set at Rs. 19,790. Both the smartphones will go on sale on June 11, as the pre-order for both the phone will start from June 7 onwards.
However, both the smartphones will be exclusively available via HTC India E-Store. As the company has not detailed any launch offers for both the smartphones. Moreover, HTC Desire 12 and HTC Desire 12+ will be available in two color options which include Cool Black and Warm Silver.
