As we all know, Earlier Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has launched flight booking services on its platform. Now IRCTC has announced a partnership with Ola which will help users to book an Ola cab using its website and app. The tie-up of Ola and IRCTC is a six-month pilot project that will give users an access to Ola cab service whenever they visit the IRCTC Rail Connect app or website.
With this partnership, users can pick their ride from a wide range of Ola service which includes Ola Micro, Ola Mini, Prime Play, and SUVs using IRCTC website and mobile app. The Ola autos and Ola share also come with IRCTC app.
On this partnership, an IRCTC spokesperson said, “The IRCTC – Ola partnership will provide first and last-mile connectivity to commuters. The ease of travel of our commuters is of prime importance to us and we believe that this association will help in delivering unparalleled convenience to the users on our platform, fostering and strengthening the culture of Digital India.”
The IRCTC has integrated Ola booking API on its platform and these services begin from Monday. As Ola cab service is part of a pilot program which will provide all the cab service on IRCTC app. Users can choose to pre-book their Ola cabs up to seven days in advance. Also, users can book there Ola’s self-serving kiosks at IRCTC outlets which is present on a railway station. However, Customer would not be able to avail any discount on any of their ride.
How to Book Ola Cabs Through IRCTC app:
- First login to IRCTC app with your full details.
- Then in service section, you will see “Book Cab” option, select it.
- By selecting, it will directly redirect into Ola cab page.
- Enter your pick and drop location.
- Choose your cab from several options. Also, select whether you want an immediate Ola cab or wish to schedule it for future.
- Later select a payment option and then click on continue.
- That’s it, your Ola cab booking is confirmed.
