As we know on 10th March, there was a Mario Day, which is one of the famous video game. On this occasion, Nintendo has partnered up with Google to add Mario Time feature to Google Maps. Google on Saturday has started rolling out this Mario Time feature in its app. This feature will turn you’re any of ride into a fun trip.
As users can now include a Mario Kart on the navigation interface while using the Google Maps. The update of this feature has rolled out in India for all Android users.
Munish Dabas, User Experience (UX) Engineer at Google Maps, said in a post that company has integrated with Nintendo which is Japanese video game company. Its aim is to let Mario accompany you on all of your driving adventures on Google Maps this week.
With Mario version of Google Maps, Navigation arrow will transform into Mario Kart. While driving it will show you a cool Mario Kart as your navigation.
Dabas said in the statement, “We know a true Mario fan when we see one. They hum the Super Mario Bros. background music on repeat, daydream about collecting gold coins and 1-UP mushrooms, and want nothing more than to traverse the Mushroom Kingdom with Luigi, Toad, and Yoshi to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser.”
How to get Mario on your Google Maps:
- Download the latest version of Google Maps from Play Store.
- Enter your destination where you want to go.
- Click on the Direction.
- Then instead of pressing “Start,” press the yellow “?” icon which is available next to it.
- Now you can see, Oh yeah! Mario Time!
