Asus is planning to launch its new Zenfone 5 Lite smartphone at the upcoming MWC 2018 event. Asus has already released an invitation for MWC 2018 event in Barcelona. Here we can expect more other phones in the Zenfone 5 series. The phone is expected to sport four cameras with 18:9 display on the front.
Evan Blass a reputed tipster, tweeted on Twitter to reveal the photos of the rumored Zenfone 5 Lite. The photo clearly suggesting a vertical dual camera setup on the rear side of the phone along with two selfie cameras on the front. It has a front-facing flash and also dual LED flash on its rear side. The rear camera setup is expected to have a 120-degree wide angle lens with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on it.
Also, Evan Blass has posted that the phone will available in three color variants i.e Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Rouge Red. The smartphone sports full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The display as 18:9 aspect ratio. Still, the screen size is not reveal at this moment. But the screen size will in between 5.7-inch and 5.9-inch as per Telecom report.
Asus Marketing Executive Marcel Campos posted a photo of Zenfone 5 Lite on his personal Instagram account. The phone has a glossy glass black panel. Also, confirm the presence of a 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB 2.0 port. As per a report by Winfuture, the Zenfone 5 Lite smartphone carries the model number X017DA and model name ZC600KL.
Another specification is still not available at this moment. But Asus has already said that the entire Zenfone 5 lineup will have Snapdragon chipsets. The Zenfone 5 Lite might arrive with the Snapdragon 450 SoC which will be a better choice for the device.
The smartphone will likely to be a mid-range or budget smartphone which comes with Android 8.0 Oreo and ZenUI on the top of the phone. Asus will confirm the launch date on February 28 at upcoming MWC 2018 event. Let us know your opinion in our comment section below.
