Instagram is the best way to capture and share your moments with your friends and family. Instagram has introduced a new feature called Type Mode to its stories section. The new feature allows you to post stories with just a text. You can add the customized text of your choice in the story feed without a need for any photo or video.
For using this feature, just swipe at the bottom of the screen. Now in Instagram Stories, you can select the Type Mode which will show along with Normal and Live mode. Later you can input text of your choice and also choose different fonts background color, and highlight it.
Instagram posted on its blog, “we’re introducing “Type” mode in stories, a new way to share anything that’s on your mind with creative text styles and backgrounds — no photo or video required. Now, you can turn your most random thoughts into something colorful and expressive.”
Also, you can add various styles of text to your photo or video if you want. However, there are only four different font options. Just like you’re regular photo and video stories, the type stories will also disappear in 24 hours unless you decide to Highlight it in your account.
Additionally, Instagram has recently launch stories Highlight and stories archive feature for its users. Stories highlight allows you to keep your stories for more than 24 hours while stories Archive will automatically save stories to your archive section when they get expire. Also, Instagram has introduced Activity status feature where you can see last seen of any person. You can just check the steps to disable it.
In order to use this feature, make sure you need to download the latest version 30 of an Instagram app. You can download the Instagram app directly from Google Play store. Do try this feature and let us know your feedback in our comment section below.
