InFocus Vision 3 With 18:9 Display, Dual Rear Cameras Launched in India

At an event occur in New Delhi, InFocus Vision 3 was launched in India. Vision 3 is the company’s latest dual camera smartphone. It sports a large 5.7-inch 18:9 HD+ display and also has 4000mAh battery which is more than enough. The company is testing its Dualfie feature which is similar to Nokia’s Bothie feature and also working on a background blur for the front camera.

InFocus Vision 3 has a 1-key shortcut option for selected apps and company says face recognition will be added to the smartphone around in January 2018. The smartphone has a metal design with minimal bezels at a front. The company’s aim is to compete with similar range smartphones like Redmi 5A, Moto C Plus and Nokia 2. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India.

InFocus Vision 3

Design and Display:

The handset has a metal body and comes with 2.5D curved edges. It will help you to easily hold it in the palm of your hands or carry it in your pocket. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a silver ring which is there around the dual camera setup. The minimal bezels at the front give the device an amazing look. Vision 3 sports 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.

Software:

The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with InFocus’s custom Smile UX on top. In order to take advantages of full Vision display, the handset comes with a feature that allows users to enable split-screen mode with just one click. The devices have smile UX with extended notification on a top. It has powerful theme engine and much more.

Camera:

Nowadays Dual cameras are found mostly on all devices. Infocus Vision 3 comes with 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup at the rear. Most smartphones in this price range come with a secondary sensor which is only capable of capturing depth data. The 5MP capture beautiful wide-angle shots using 120-degree ultra-wide sensor on it.

InFocus Vision 3

The Vision 3 comes with Dualfie feature which is similar to Nokia’s Bothie mode. It allows users to capture images from the front and rear cameras at the same time. The front camera comes with 8MP which allows for 7 levels of beautification mode and also captures portrait images.

Hardware and Battery:

The smartphone is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card.

The handset comes with a massive battery life of 4,000mAh. Infocus said that it will give 22 days of standby battery life, 45 hours of music and 12 hours of videos. The best thing about this smartphone is that one can use this smartphone as a power bank to charge another device.

Price and Availability:

In India, the price of InFocus Vision 3 has been set at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India from 12 am on December 20. The Device comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. At the launch event of InFocus Vision 3, Infocus announced that there are total 400 InFocus service centers in India. They are planning to launch their own facial recognition technology in the future.
