Google started the Nexus Project 7 years ago with its Nexus one which being manufactured along with HTC had the latest Android 2.1 Eclair. Also Being the very first phone to get Android Froyo in the following year.It was the only phone in Google’s entire history to come up with a Memory card support.

This amazing phone was introduced in the Google event back in 2010 and not only Google showcased what it’s phone can do, It also Introduced some of the amazing cool features in its event let it be the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Face Unlock, Giant Screen Sized Nexus 7 Tablet with LTE, First Nexus tablet for home consumption featuring a 2K screen with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 10, The really Cool Nexus Q which obviously was Discontinued because of Price and the Nexus Player with Android TV.

It also to be noted that one of the greatest projects like Android wear, Android Internet of Things, Android Auto and Other new projects have been brought to life here in the form of Products.

Google Pixel 2

With this year we should expect the unveiling of the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL having featured a screen and display like the one on Galaxy Note 8 with Almost Zero Bezels, If not being compared with iPhone X. It is also believed that this will not have the headphone jack. This phone will carry the design from HTC and along with the help of LG. Hey! This is Android and This is how we do it.

be together. not the same.

The Phones obviously will come with the latest Android Oreo out of the Box , But the real difference is it will have the new Bug Fixes and latest Security Updates with Augmented Reality Support which Google will be Unveiling in the Event. Few days back we heard Google bought some of the HTC Patents and We sure can Expect the “HTC U11 Squeeze Feature” also if Google uses Boom speakers on the New Pixel,Which will be a bonus for all.

Google Home

Amazon dominates the Home Speakers! wait, we shouldn’t even call that as a Speaker. It is Amazon echo!

it can open an app or game, play or pause a video, find music, dim the lights, set a timer, show your calendar, and more, simply by using your voice.

Alexa is the brain behind the Successful Amazon Echo, you just don’t need to touch a button at all in order to use the service, just by saying  “Alexa” to interact with content by using voice,Alexa enables people to play music, get the latest news, sports scores, weather, and more.

Google home launched just last year and it runs the very same Personal Assistant which runs on our phones too, which is the Google Assistant. You need to be connected to Wi-Fi and simply say the wake word “Ok Google” and ask Google to control audio playback like play, pause, rewind, and fast forward, launch an app, play your favourite song or read an audiobook. You can also ask Google Home to answer questions, read the news, get traffic and weather reports, set alarms and timers, and more.

Google Home should also now control a range of smart home devices from SmartThings, Insteon, ecobee, Wink, and more. Dim the lights or adjust the thermostat using just your voice. Also, like the Amazon Alexa, Google home should also Monitor home security camera with compatible devices from Nest, Ring, and Arlo.

On October 4th we should also Expect Google Home to come up with a New Small Version which should also come with 3 Different Colors and even better Stereo Speakers which will be more Immersive with Multi-Dimensional Microphones. Now the Smart Speaker Competition is getting highly heated up with Google, Amazon, and Apple on the board. The competition will be high and Even more new Applications will be developed by the App Developers who is the very important reason why a Software Ecosystem survives.

Google Pixelbook

Google Pixelbook is the new device which will directly Compete with Apple iPads and Microsoft Surface books which will also run on the Google’s Chrome OS. Oh wait I know, What you’re thinking of! Running Android on this Tablet would be a Bad Option because Google’s Chrome OS already supports Android Apps which was a part of a Software update to many Chromebooks. This is a Successor to the Chromebook Pixel but this time it will also have a Pressure sensitive Display and a stylus similar to Apple Pencil.

Google VR and AR

Google is the first company to unveil the Virtual reality to the audiences years before, It even launched previously Google Cardboard and Google Daydream Viewer VR Headset. Now that Apple has Announced its Augmented reality Apple ARkit and Already many Games and Apps on the Apple App Store supports the Augmented reality. It looked stunning and shocking when we were loading games on our iPhone 7 and we really wanted to see our Pixel and Note 8 to support this after the Google ARCore announcement which is expected to happen on October 4. Google ARCore announcement will help to use our existing Phones and Tablets to make use of the Augmented reality Instead of the need for new hardware devices like Lenovo Phab 2 or Asus Zenfone AR.
