After lots of rumors, now it is official that Google will reveal Android O name on the day of Solar Eclipse dated 21st August, Monday. Official Update from Google Says – “Android O is touching down to Earth with the total solar eclipse, bringing some super (sweet) new powers!”
Google will show off some new features along with Android O Name [likely to be Android Oreo] at an event in New York City on August 21st at 2:40 PM ET. As Per Indian Standard Time, the event will start at 12.10 AM 22nd August.

We have few guesses what the Android O will be named. On various social media platforms rumors or leaks of names such as Android Octopus, Android Orbit, Android Oreo and few mores are getting viral. We are betting on the name of Android Oreo. But for the final confirmation, we need to for 2 more days till 21st August when there will be completely black in the entire United States due to Solar Eclipse.
