Android Lollipop (5.0) comes with completely different User Interface based on Material design which means every layer is different from one another. Google in its keynote 2014 mentioned android L comprises of API more than 5000, well this is mainly for developers but in the end helps users to get best applications and games in their phone.
2: Notifications:
Google has completed changed the lock screen of smartphone. Now you can get the information and notification on your lock screen itself which reduces the efforts by user to get the notification. Now you no longer have to unlock your Smartphone for notification you can get it all just by clicking the power button. One of the best and interesting feature of Android Lollipop (5.0) is that it guarantees you to last your Smartphone battery. In the keynote 2014 where the Developer preview of Android Lollipop was installed in NEXUS 5, Google claimed that Android Lollipop had increased the duration time of NEXUS 5 by 90 minutes(1.30 hours) well this really amazed me. It is confirmed that Android Lollipop increases the usage time of device but not necessarily 90 mins it differs from device to device.
