
Samsung has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming line up of phone, Samsung Galaxy S21. Samsung also released an official invitation to the even through its Samsung Newsroom to the new Galaxy unpacked event. The tagline of the event is “Welcome to the Everyday Epic” and the event will be conducted virtually and is scheduled on 14th January at 10 AM EST (8:30 PM IST).
The rumours suggest that Samsung will be launching three smartphones in this launch event namely Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The leaks of Galaxy S21 have surfaced online for quite some time now and the new smartphones are supposed to offer upgrades than the previous smartphones in terms of camera, performance, and overall design. It is also known that this time the flagship will allegedly come with S Pen functionality which was exclusive for its Note Series.

The recent leaks suggest that the flagships will be powered by Exynos 2100 which has beaten Snapdragon 888 in Geek-bench test in both single-core and multi-core tests. The phone will be coupled with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB Storage through there is no word if the Samsung will provide a MicroSD slot for external storage. The smartphone will run on Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.1 on top of it.
Other specifications include a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x Display and the Plus Model with 6.7-inch with 120 Hz refresh rate for all the models and HD+ panels. The Galaxy S21 will be backed by 4000 mAh Battery and S21 Plus with 4800 mAh battery with support for fast charging of 25W. Also you can expect wireless charging and reverse charging mechanism in the phones.
In the segment of the camera, both the phones will be coming with a 10-megapixel front camera with the functionality of Face Unlock. The rear has a triple camera setup which includes 64-megapixel as the primary sensor, 12-megapixel secondary wide-angle sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), and 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
