Samsung will soon be releasing S21 Ultra which will be powered by Samsung’s most powerful chipset Exynos 2100. It has been reported that Exynos 2100 will have a longer battery life than what we have seen in Exynos 990. This report comes after a tweet from a known tipster Ice Universe.

A test project found out that the Samsung S20 Ultra which is equipped with Exynos 990 consumed 55 per cent of the battery whereas, Samsung S21 Ultra which is powered by Exynos 2100 consumed only 22 per cent of the battery for the same test project.

The details of the test project are not provided by the tipster but it seems that the test is conducted to perform certain tasks that determine the consumption of smartphones energy. The Exynos 2100 is a 5nm chip whereas, Exynos 2100 is a 7nm chip. The Snapdragon 888 is also a 5nm chipset and it is known that Samsung will use both the chipsets in its upcoming smartphones. Exynos 2100 will be used for Indian and Europe Market while Snapdragon 888 will be used for Chinese and the US market.

It has been recorded over a period of time that Qualcomm always outperforms Exynos chipset but there is a possibility that this trend could change. Initial reports already suggest that Exynos 2100 is already ahead of Snapdragon 888 whose codename is ‘Lahaina‘. Samsung has focused on its research and development department and has gone an extra mile to deliver this output that we have seen in Exynos 2100.

Samsung has made great improvements and modifications with Exynos 2100 which we will be able to see with the launch of Samsung S21 line up of phones. Samsung is likely to launch the line up in mid-January next year of which Samsung Galaxy S21 will be the first line up of phones to be powered with Exynos 2100.
