Google has recently entered into budget phone segment with its debut of Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL n 2019. Further, we saw its continuation with Pixel 4a in 2020. Now we have seen a device that has surfaced online with the name Pixel XE which could be an early prototype that Google is working on.
We assume that the phone will be in the mid-range segment because one of the images that surfaced online shows the frequency of the CPU on which the phone operates. Besides that, the leak shows that the phone will feature a punch-hole display, NFC, and it also showed the CPU of the alleged Pixel XE.

The phone comes with a punch-hole camera which is quite popular and trending these days in the upcoming smartphones. There is a screenshot that has been shared which shows us the name of the device as Pixel XE that is displayed in Settings > About Phone. We saw the elimination of notch in Pixel 4a and began with a punch-hole trend in the upcoming line-up.
The trend was carried on further with Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 with punch-hole displays, though, Google has not yet launched Pixel 5 in the Indian market. It should be known that most of these phones have a camera situated on the top left corner of the display but Pixel XE has it in the centre. The image shows that the phone will come with two sim card slots.
It will also have support for NFC and Bluetooth as seen in the image where it is listed inside the option of connected devices. The CPU frequency of the device appears to be 1.8 GHz and is running on Android 11. Looking at the frequency of the processor, it could mean that the phone will be running on mid-tier Qualcomm processor.
