You heard it right OnePlus have now come with Education Benefits Program for students as well as faculty members and are offering 5% off on accessories and Rs.1000 discount on an OnePlus smartphone or TV.
OnePlus already has competitive pricing in India compared to Europe and North America. Now with the Education Benefits Program, you will be able to save more. OnePlus also stated that they are covering 760 universities and 38,498 colleges which are eligible to avail these benefits.
To avail these benefits, you will need to verify that you are a student and log in to OnePlus account where the verification of student status will be done via Student Beans service. Once verified, you will receive a voucher that you can apply while checking out.

However, OnePlus claims that you can only use the voucher once a year which means you can only buy Phone, TV or any accessories rather than one each. This could be a big step towards that growth of OnePlus community in India offering these benefits to students. Though the discounts are not huge, it could be a step ahead for a beginning.
Students are always excited to experience new technology but it comes at a price due to which they never get to experience high-end phones or the technology they are even learning about. This could become a big thing in the coming years. Cannot wait for the other things that OnePlus has to offer.
